🏆 How to Secure a "Top Look" in Fashion AR
If you want to dominate the runway and guarantee a Top Look, you have to play the algorithm strategically.
The absolute most important rule: You MUST have your TAGS equipped (see the following graphic for a full breakdown on tags).
Once your tags are set, follow this exact formula:
1. Prep the Perfect Shot
Take your picture making absolutely sure your required TAGS are visible and equipped.
2. Enter and Lock
Go to the Competitions page and submit your correct picture. If you have a Flame Lock (the lightning bolt icon), use it now! The Flame Lock is golden—once your flame is lit, it cannot go out.
3. The Voting Hustle
Do not close the app! Immediately go to the "Vote" tab for the specific competition you just entered. Keep voting for other looks until you see a flame appear on your own picture. This usually takes about 20 to 30 votes. Sometimes less, sometimes more. It just depends on the day.
4. The Maintenance Phase
If you used a Flame Lock: Congratulations, you are done! Step away from the game; you are guaranteed a Top Look.
If you DO NOT have a Flame Lock: You are on babysitting duty. You must regularly check your photo to ensure your flame hasn't gone out. If it disappears, go straight back to voting until it relights!
💡 Pro-Tips for Maximum Votes
Zoom It In: The voting screen is small. Pictures that are zoomed in grab attention much faster and get significantly more votes from other players than distant, full-body shots.
Feature the Tag: Pose strategically! If the required tag is a crop top, make sure your lighting and angle show off that top. If the tag is shoes, pick a pose that puts those shoes front and center.
